Adjustable pedestal for terrace - adjustable slab - 90-150 mm - Rinno Plots
You don't have to have a lot of money to be able to build the raised terrace of your dreams! Rinno Plots has developed an adjustable pedestal for slab that makes it possible to build a private outdoor space without having to face the slightest constraint. Little effort is required, few tools and little time is needed to lay a slab terrace on adjustable pedestal at low cost. Solid, the foundations support your structure without ever moving a millimeter! To achieve this result, all you have to do is be meticulous during installation to enjoy your terrace for many years to come!
Simplified site preparation
The secret to a solid and durable terrace lies in good ground preparation. The ground must be flat and stable to accommodate the pedestals for many years. There are many different ways to do this, depending on your terrain. If your project is on concrete or an old terrace structure, there is no need to prepare the ground. All you have to do is clean the surface in question and check the flatness with a spirit level. However, if you want to build on grass, you will have to follow some preliminary instructions:
- After mowing, excavate 15 cm deep before laying a geotextile felt. This will prevent the grass from growing back and will keep your structure intact without any maintenance;
- Add 15 cm of gravel to solidify and stabilize the soil. Check the flatness of the soil one last time before laying the first adjustable pedestal for terrace.
Flat ground is mandatory to lay the foundations of the slab terrace adjustable pedestal. Even if the pedestals are adjustable, a sloping terrace is not pleasant or durable... You may have to redo the work in a few years if the ground preparation is not done properly!
Installation on any surface
The adjustable pedestal for slab is practical as it adapts to all types of terrain! The pedestal is adjustable in height from 90 to 150 mm to meet the needs and requirements of the user. To do this, an adjustment ring is located under the head of the pedestalfor a height selected to the nearest millimeter. It thus allows the laying of raised tiled terraces.
With good ground preparation, the pot can easily be adapted to different substrates: gravel, grass, earth or concrete. Intended for laying tiled terraces, the adjustable pedestal for slab makes your task much easier as it is simply laid on flat ground without adding any fixings!
Quick and easy to install
All you need to make your project a reality is the adjustable pedestal for slab. No additional products are required, no professional help is required, and the installation of the slab on adjustable pedestal is done alone (except for carrying the slabs to avoid any injury) and quickly. Your terrace will take shape in only 3 days! This very quick and simple way of laying the foundations allows professionals in the trade to be more efficient in the laying of terraces. Individuals, on the other hand, greatly appreciate the ease of handling and the very accessible installation.
There are 3 steps to follow to create a terrace on adjustable pedestal:
- After preparing the ground, lay the pedestals directly on the stable ground without any fixing. Then adjust the height of each pedestal, taking into account the height to be caught up. Located under the head of the pedestal, the adjustment ring allows you to adjust the height to the nearest millimeter for perfect flatness and a longer service life;
- Use a spirit level to check that your installation is straight;
- Lay the slab on pedestal (minimum 2 cm thick) on the head of the adjustable pedestal terrace. The 4 lugs on the head help keep the slab in place and delimit the spacing between each slab. Don't worry, each pedestal supports up to 1 ton of load. There is no need to glue or add joints, the weight of the slabs compacts the entire foundation.
Resistant and durable
The space between the floor and the slabs created by the slab terrace on adjustable pedestal is beneficial for the durability of the structure. Indeed, this space allows air to pass through and therefore ventilates the construction. In addition, the pedestalincludes a rainwater drainage system to avoid stagnation, a risk that could lead to deterioration of the structure. Finally, you can hide all your wires and pipes that make your exterior look ugly.
Reusable indefinitely, the adjustable pedestal for terrace is made of polypropylene, a very solid material that resists not only time, weight and weather conditions. Frost, UV rays and extreme temperatures do not damage the adjustable pedestal, which is a reliable, durable and safe product.
The installation of a terrace on a pedestal is the easiest and quickest method to set up: follow the assembly steps and build your terrace in less than 3 days!
step 1Determine the required spacing, place the pedestals on the ground, adjust them and check everything with a spirit level.
step Once the installation is level, place the tiles on the head of the pedestals.
step 3Then adjust the height of the pedestals and check everything one last time with a spirit level.
step 4Finally, make the cuts to close the terrace laterally.
