Laying outdoor tiles on slab pedestals is a good way to enhance your terrace. With slabs tile from the Rinno Carrelage brand, you can benefit from quality tiles that are resistant and durable over time. The installation of a slab terrace on pedestals is simple and fast and this installation technique is done without joints. Rinno slabs tile are made of full-body porcelain stoneware: they are very resistant and have low porosity. This tile is frost and wear resistant and allows a durable installation. The slabs measure 60x60 cm and are 2 cm thick. Please note: for a slab installation on pedestals it is imperative to use slabs greater than or equal to 2 cm thick. For installation, you will need the following accessories: noise damping wedge, adjustable slab carrier.

Slabs resistance to passage: the PEI standard

This certification classifies the tiles by a score from 1 to 5 according to their resistance to surface abrasion, indicating their installation and use. Slabs tile from Rinno Carrelage are classified PEI 4, they are designed to withstand heavy traffic and have good abrasion resistance.


Resistance to wear, punching, water and chemical agents

The UPEC classification is used to define the level of resistance of exterior tiles. Slabsfrom Rinno Carrelage are classified U3 in the UPEC classification, which is the 3rd level out of the 4.


Barefoot slip resistance: ABC standard

There are several levels of adhesion evaluated barefoot for tile slabs, especially when the tile is wet. Slabs from the Rinno Carrelage brand are of standard B: high adhesion on tiles, barefoot and on wet floors.


Resistance to slipping on foot traffic: R standard.

Pavement grip levels are classified into 5 categories ranging from 9 to 13. Slabs tile from Rinno Carrelage meet the R10 standard: good grip for terraces.
