The installation of the slab terrace on pedestals requires a few precautions to be taken during its installation. Slabs on pedestals are quick and easy to install and do not require any glue or joint. Finish your slab terrace with a few indispensable accessories such as the slab plate for pedestals. This accessory allows you to install the pedestals along the edge of the facade and also allows you to close off the side of the terrace so as to hide the pedestals.
Use of the slab plate for pedestals on a tiled terrace
The slab plate is placed directly on the head of the pedestal and the height of the pedestal is adjusted using the adjustment ring. The laying of terrace slab requires: 4 pedestals per slab and a slab plate for each tile located on the periphery of the terrace or against a wall. Installation is carried out in a few steps:
- Place the pedestals on the floor at a distance equal to the size of the slab tiles.
- Add the slab plates for pedestal edge and wall pedestals and adjust the height of the pedestals.
- Place the tiles on pedestals, 4 lugs hold them in place.
- Check that the surface is level with a spirit level.
- Then finish off the terrace slab: edge, riser, bank and facade.
The finishing of the tiled terrace on a pedestal is done using two indispensable accessories: the slab plate and the support for the pedestal cladding. The slab plate for the pedestal allows the installation of tiles on the "counter-facing" and also for the edges of the terrace. Thus, thanks to this slab pedestal accessory, you can easily lay your tile on a pedestal against a wall and also close off the perimeter of the terrace.
The tiling support allows it to make the riser of the tiled terrace and thus hide the installation of the pedestals.
