Stabilizing tile spacers for 3 mm slab - Jouplast
Stabilizing tile spacers are accessories that allow the laying of a ceramic slab on a concrete slab, gravel or stabilized sand. Its compact size and its low thickness of 2 mm make this accessory an excellent alternative to the higher fixed pedestal. This laying method can be carried out without joints.
Use of the stabilizing tile spacer for terrace slab
The stabilizing crosspiece allows the laying of ceramic tile slab on sand or gravel, as well as the renovation of an existing terrace. It is imperative that the floor that will accommodate the crosspiece is stable and level. The base of the stabilizing crosspiece guarantees the flatness of the tile slabs and the correct positioning of the spacer without the possibility of lifting.
Invisible, the crosspiece allows an aesthetic rendering for your tiled terrace. It is intended for the laying of terraces for pedestrian use only and makes direct laying quick and easy. This method of installation also offers the possibility of laying offset or against a wall.
It is advisable to use self-supporting class T7 or T11 slabs to lay using the stabilizing tile spacers, also called CROSS DALLE by its manufacturer, Jouplast.
Characteristics of the stabilizing cross-brace for slab terraces
Square, the crosspiece measures 57 mm x 57 mm. It is made of translucent polypropylene, a robust and durable material. The spacers on the top of the crosspiece are 10 mm high and 3 mm thick. They are used to define the spacing between the tile slabs of the terrace. It resists temperatures from -30° to +60° to allow installation in all weather conditions. Finally, this accessory is 100% recyclable.
