Protective strip for joist Jouplast
The joist protective strip protects the joists from humidity. This is glued directly to the joists of the structure, which are previously fixed to the terrace pedestals. As its name suggests, the strip protects the joist by preventing the runoff of rainwater and therefore its humidity level.
Use of the decking joist protection strip
Laying a wooden terrace on a joist pedestal requires a few precautions to ensure that it is durable over time. Once the pedestals have been placed on the ground and the joists fixed on the pedestals, you will need to protect the joists of your terrace. To do this, use a protective strip for the joist to protect against humidity and water runoff.

- Make sure that your joists are dry and clean before applying the protective strip
