Finished the long awl work to set up an outdoor staircase, thanks to MODULESCA it becomes child's play and only takes half a day to complete.
Before starting your exterior staircase installation, carry out a few steps to prepare the ground:
- Define the location of the stairs
- Break out the surface to a depth of 10 cm
- Dig 1 m wide and 20 cm deep to accommodate the first element of the staircase
- Line the bottom with gravel (size 0-20) and place the module there
Once the ground is perfectly prepared to accommodate the rest of the staircase structure, let's move on to laying the staircase:
- Check with a level that your module is straight
- Fill it with gravel to keep it in place (do not obstruct the slides)
- Remove the next module, fit the lugs into the nuts
- Slide the module against the embankment and secure it with 3 screws
- Put pressure on the step while fixing it
The last step is to make the dressing of the steps of the external staircase:
- For wooden cladding: position and screw the joists then screw the wooden slats onto the joists. Leave a clearance of 3 to 5 mm between the blades.
- For a paving covering: pour concrete dosed at 350 kg up to the edge, glue the pavings on the steps and risers. Let it dry for 48 hours before use.
