Installation on pedestals and installation tips

Thanks to its substantial thickness of 20 mm, this slab is easily installed on adjustable pedestals, allowing for quick and uniform installation. For better acoustic comfort, the addition of anti-noise shims is recommended to reduce vibrations and improve the stability of the deck.

The weight of the slab varies according to its dimensions and is approximately:

• 60x60cm = 15.57 kg

• 30x120cm = 16 kg

• 45x90 cm = 17.8 kg

• 60x90cm = 23.5kg

• 80x80cm = 28.5 kg

• 90x90cm = 37.6 kg

• 120x120cm = 63.25 kg

Tips:

It is recommended to use 1 pedestal every 60 cm, so for example for the following slabs:

• 60x60 cm = 4 pedestals (one for each corner of the slab)

• 60x120 cm = 6 pedestals (one for each corner + 1 in the middle on the edges of the slab)

• 120x120cm = 9 pedestals (one for each corner + 1 in the middle of the edges + 1 in the center of the slab for solidification)
