Crafted in Italy, Mirage porcelain stoneware is a noble material composed of 99% pure natural minerals, including kaolin, feldspar, and clay. These slabs are full-bodied (colored throughout the mass) and compressed without the use of chemical glues or resins, making them an eco-friendly and sustainable choice. Fired at extremely high temperatures, the slabs become completely non-porous and compact. This process ensures that Motley Monterey is immune to frost, acids, salt, and thermal shock, keeping the "Monterey" tones vibrant and unchanged despite heavy UV exposure or extreme weather conditions.

Installation Tips

• Pedestal Layout: For the 60x60 cm format, we recommend a 4-pedestal configuration (one at each corner). For the 60x120 cm format, use 6 pedestals (one at each corner plus one at the midpoint of the long edges).

• The 60 cm Support Rule: Always maintain a support point at least every 60 cm to guarantee the structural integrity of the installation under load.

• Acoustic Comfort: To enhance the premium feel of the deck, we recommend placing anti-vibration rubber shims on the pedestal heads. This helps dampen footsteps and creates a more solid, silent walking experience.

• Dry-Lay Benefits: Installing on pedestals allows for a rapid, clean setup that provides immediate access to any utility lines or drainage systems hidden beneath the slabs without the need for mortar or glue.
