The Glocal Ideal GC03 is engineered specifically for the demands of the outdoors. With a 20 mm thickness and a high slip-resistance rating (R11), it ensures total safety in all weather conditions, even around wet areas. The rectified edges allow for ultra-thin grout lines or perfectly aligned "dry" laying on pedestals, creating a clean and continuous architectural surface.

Inherently robust, this material is impermeable to acids, resistant to frost, and unaffected by thermal shock or heavy foot traffic. Unlike natural concrete, it requires no chemical sealants or waterproofers, maintaining its aesthetic integrity and stain resistance with minimal maintenance.

Installation Tips

• Pedestal Layout: For the 80x80cm format, we recommend using at least 5 pedestals per slab (one at each corner and one in the center) to ensure maximum structural stability.

• Acoustic Comfort: To create a truly premium experience, place anti-vibration rubber shims on the pedestal heads before laying the tiles. This significantly reduces noise and vibrations when walking on the terrace.

• Maintenance: Because the material is non-porous, it does not require waterproofing. Simply clean with water and standard neutral detergents to keep the surface looking new.

• Handling: Due to the weight of 28.5 kg per slab, the use of a professional slab carrier or a suction cup lifter is highly recommended for safety and precision during installation.
