Lateral trim support for paving and joist pedestal – Jouplast

The cladding support is an accessory often used in combination with the paving plate and allows the completion of a terrace on pedestals. Compatible with the installation of tiled and wooden board terraces, it allows you to create the side finishes of the terrace by creating a riser.

Use of the cladding support for terrace pedestal

Used alone, the cladding support allows you to achieve the abutting finishes of your terrace on pedestal, whether it is in tiled pavings or wooden boards. Combined with the paving plate, you can use it in 3 different ways: as a finish with a skirting board, as an invisible finish or even when creating stair steps.

Simple to use, the cover support for terrace pedestal is fixed on the base of the flange. This one can be screwed but it is not an obligation. In the case of cladding a terrace corner on a paving pedestal, provide 2 cladding supports to close it.

Thus, the covering support allows the vertical laying of a paving or a wooden strip to cover the riser of your terrace on pedestals. It creates a support for the plinth and allows its alignment with the head of the pedestal. Provide 1 paved cladding support per peripheral pedestal as well as 2 cladding supports for the pedestals located in the corners.

Characteristics of the cladding support for terrace pedestal

  • The pedestal trim support measures 100mm x 67mm x 28mm and is made of polypropylene.
  • It is installed without additional tools and the breakable tongue allows the laying of pavings of any thickness.
  • This accessory is compatible with all the pedestals of the Jouplast brand and allows the invisible fixing of the plinth of the terrace for optimal finishes.
  • 100% recyclable, the covering support is resistant to extreme temperatures, whether positive or negative from -30° to +60°. This accessory can be screwed to the flange of the pedestal.
